Solid Inc found life from a chance meeting of Jez and Simmo, when Simmo filled in as a drummer for Jez’s band One Owner. Due to there mutual love of Metallica, Nickelback and other cool bands, and times jamming on Metallica riffs after rehearsals for One Owner, they decided to start there own band, thus Solid Inc. was born.

So from there a bass player was needed and found in Josh, a friend of Simmo’s who he had played in bands with before, and a singer was found in Mark, the former singer in Jez’s old band The Word. After a false start with four gigs up our sleeves and a singer who could not commit, we were on the search for a new Singer, which we found in Mark (Tearsun), a talented singer/songwriter, who took 1st & 2nd in the 2007 ASA Awards for the pop rock category. Tearsun loves to put on a show and will ensure all members of the audience will be entertained.
