HOG
AND THE HOOTOWLS
BIOGRAPHY
Hog
and the Hootowls evolved in the country side of
Blackhill overlooking the infamous Minmi
breakwater. In this unhassled environment
Heath, Mick and Jason laid the foundation for this
inflammable and inspired rock group. Paul Whitten
a highly professional drummer with a wealth of
conservatorium training in percussion has proved
to be the spark to explode them to their unlimited
destiny. Their
original music is intrinsically melodic rock but
they play it hard and compliment their
instrumental ability with exciting harmonies. As a
result of two years of intense band work they can
match the best when playing covers but their souls
are really exposed when they perform original -
Hootowls - music.
From
their humble beginnings the group has skyrocketed
in the entertainment world, displaying the ability
to capture their audience from the pub and
nightclub to the big concert hall. They have
highlighted their successful year of 91 with the
release of their three song screamer titles '
never let you go on compact disc and cassette. A
trio of original haunting love songs with a rich
rock flavours, their recording should prove to be
a worthy 'front runner' to their first album which
should be out next year
